It seems like I’ve been on the quest for the best Asian restaurants in Paris France forever. Whether we’re talking Vietnamese restaurants or delicious Chinese delicacies, I’m a sucker for Asian food. When I used to live in Paris, I’d always be on TripAdvisor or Yelp. I would be trying to find the best new cheap Asian restaurants for hours. After, that’s a capital city and an expensive city at that. That means that finding a new cool budget Asian eatery in Paris was always a Grail.
And I believe I’m right – what are the cuisines that offer complexity and simplicity all rolled into one? All the Asian restaurants I’ve chosen to show you offer the freshest ingredients combined in intricately easy recipes. When you get out of them, you’ll feel simply satisfied.
10 Best Asian Restaurants in Paris
The best Asian restaurants in Paris France are not always that easy to find. Although, if you go to districts like Belleville, the 13th Arrondissement, or Pyramides, you will find plenty of authentic Asian joints. There, you can get your fill of traditional dumplings, noodles hand-stretched in front of you, and excellent mochi.
You just have to know where to look – follow the guide! If you’re visiting Paris, you might want to know which are the best restaurants, Michelin-starred restaurants, rooftop bars in Paris, and even Asian restaurants. And now, let’s see the best Asian restaurants in Paris!
1. Pho 13
Pho 13 is a very famous Vietnamese restaurant in Paris district 13. The area is very well-known for its large Asian communities. I used to love coming there after a long day at work because you’re sure to get the most amazing food at an excellent price point. Among all the Vietnamese restaurants in Pairs France, Pho 13 is one of my very favorites.
My favorite dish of all time is the traditional Vietnamese pho soup, which you can order for a quick lunch at Pho 13. It’s also a really cool place to have dinner with friends since it’s affordable and in the very heart of Paris.
Address: 66 Avenue d Ivry, 75013 Paris
2. Mian Fan
Mian Fan is the best Chinese restaurant in Paris if you’re looking for extra fresh, extra tasty dishes. There’s not one dish there that does not live up to a professional palate’s expectations. The restaurant also offers a few Thai, Vietnamese, and fusion options on their extensive menu.
Mian Fan is the best Chinese restaurant in Paris for efficient and professional service in a great location. Indeed, the restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful design area around metro stations Vavin and Edgar Quinet. The prices are more than mouthwatering considering the portions and the amazing location for an occasion or date night.
Address: 124 boulevard du Montparnasse, 75014 Paris
3. Le Bambou – Best Vietnamese Restaurant in Paris France
This is my personal favorite – Le Bambou, a Vietnamese restaurant in Paris district 13. Located near the metro station Olympiades, not too far from the huge commercial center Italie 2, that’s a restaurant that feels like home to me. The best Asian restaurants in Paris France all offer homemade food that reminds you of family, childhood, and hope.
Le Bambou offers two specific dishes that I absolutely recommend if you eat meat: pho soup (obviously) as well as raw beef salad. Order those, and you’re sure to have an amazing moment in one of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Paris France.
I would also recommend going to an Asian supermarket nearby before going to dinner – that way, you can cook some of that Asian goodness during the week.
4. Le Jardin du Kashmir
Le Jardin du Kashmir is one of the most famous Indian restaurants in Paris, and that’s understandable. Whether you eat meat or follow a vegetarian lifestyle, this place has it all for you. It’s not always easy to find Indian vegetarian restaurants in Paris France.
To be honest, more and more spots have popped up in the last few years so we’re on the right track. When you enter the restaurant – located in one of the best areas of Paris, you feel at home straight away.
If you need halal meat options, Le Jardin du Kashmir has them for you. If you don’t eat gluten, you’ll also be able to relish some dumbfounding dishes. Cheese naans (my favorites!), chicken tikka,… they seem to have it all. And more, with exquisite blends of cream and spice that will satisfy your palate more than ever before.
Address: 60 rue Legendre, 75017 Paris
5. Best Japanese Restaurant in Paris: Aki Boulangerie
Aki Boulangerie is a twist on the best Japanese restaurants in Paris France. Usually, when we talk about Japanese food, we’ll go for some pho soup, some sushi, and some noodles. With Aki Boulangerie – one of the very best Asian restaurants in Paris France by far, we’re lying on another kind of bed. If you’ve been missing matcha, there you go.
This bakery is famous all around Paris by Japan enthusiasts and food lovers alike, and it’s located in the heart of the Asian area near the metro station Pyramides. You can get a lot of Japanese pastries there as if you were in Japan.
However, they also sometimes feature a little French twist, which makes them even more delicious. I’ve included Aki Boulangerie in this list as the best Japanese restaurant in Paris because the place does offer some amazing lunch treats. Just try it, and you’ll know what I mean.
Address: 16 rue Sainte Anne, 75001 Paris
6. Shang Palace
Shang Palace is the best Chinese restaurant in Paris – or at least one of them. The first Shang Palace opened in Paris, and it’s been around for a decade now. The chefs take their inspirations from Southeast China’s culinary traditions, which means that guests can enjoy purely authentic Chinese food – with a Michelin star checked on it.
If I had to choose the best Chinese restaurant in Paris, I would set Shang Palace pretty high on the list. Why? Because of how clean and inspiring every plate of food looks. Whatever you order, the waiters bring to your table with an aura of sunshine.

Shang Palace is located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, one of the poshest districts. Thus, it is understandable that this restaurant would offer graceful, delicious food. If you’re staying at the Shangri-La, that’s probably going to become your go-to. And why not have a stroll in the National Museum of Asian Arts before? It’s very close and full of exciting art.
Address: 10 Avenue d Iena, 75116 Paris
7. Hanoi Ca Phe
Hanoi Ca Phe exceeds all expectations – there, that sets the tone for one of the best Asian restaurants in Paris France. With quite a few locations across Paris, this Vietnamese slash healthy restaurant will make you fall in love at first bite. How could I talk about Vietnamese restaurants in Paris France without mentioning – yet again – the delicious pho soup that they cook day after day?
If you love yourself a mixture of crunchy, crispy, fresh, and tangy at the same time, well… Hanoi Ca Phe was meant for you. It’s not a Vietnamese restaurant in Paris district 13. However, if you happen to go by the Galeries Lafayettes, Printemps, and the Opera area (which you will because they’re unmissable during a trip to Paris), you’ll be happy you followed my advice.
Address: 30 boulevard des Italiens, 75009 Paris
8. The Best Chinese Restaurant in Paris: Ravioli Chinois Nord-Est
Raviolis Chinois Nord Est is the best Chinese restaurant in Paris. There, I found it – until the next one, right? Authentic and super cheap Chinese food is something that lots of us crave on treat days (I’ve stopped calling them to cheat days a long time ago). There’s nothing more fulfilling and satisfying than Chinese dumplings in my opinion.
In this restaurant, you can buy them grilled or in the most exquisite broth, you’ll ever taste in your life. It’s a very small and very popular joint in the heart of hearts of Paris. Eating at Raviolis Chinois Nord Est is almost like eating dumplings in China. The fact that you can also buy your dumplings in bulk to bring back home definitely makes it the best Chinese restaurant in Paris.
Address: 11 rue Civiale, 75010 Paris
9. Best Indian Restaurant in Paris: Le Maharaja
When you have the chance to eat at the best Indian restaurants in Paris, you just grab it. Opportunity knocks, and you need to open the door – especially the door to Le Maharaja restaurant. From the best Asian restaurants in Paris France, I expect a flawless combination of flavors and perfectly cooked ingredients.
Spot on – as far as I’m concerned, Le Maharaja is one of the best. It’s not part of the list of Indian vegetarian restaurants in Paris, since it does offers quite the selection of meats (which are all worthwhile, by the way). But the menu does offer some veggie options and even vegan dishes for those who still want to enjoy Indian food to the max.
Le Maharaja is located in one of the poshest districts of Paris, in the 17th Arrondissement near the Batignolles and Monceau, where there is also a huge, astonishing park. Maybe it’s not one of the best Indian vegetarian restaurants in Paris France, but it sure deserves a visit, both for the food and the location.
Address: 48 rue la Condamine, 75017 Paris
10. The Best Japanese Restaurants in Paris France: Okyama
Okyama has been one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Paris France for a long time. From the first time I ever put their delicious food into my mouth, actually. To be fair, it’s not a proper Japanese restaurant since it also offers specialties from other parts of Asia. Let’s say then that it’s one of the best Asian restaurants in Paris France, rather than just Japanese.
However, their sushi selection is oftentimes way more delish than that in other Japanese restaurants I’ve been to. Their noodles, their rice, the combination of their ingredients – all is absolutely stunning. It’s kind of difficult to find the best Japanese restaurant in Paris when you are looking for an all-you-can-eat joint. But this one is affordable, delicious, and worth every cent.
Address: 15 B boulevard Victor, 75015 Paris
